About Jamie Jenicek
Education and Associations
I was raised locally and graduated from Kootenai High School in 1982. I went on from there to North Idaho College where I received an Associates degree in Law Enforcement in 1984. I then attended the University of Idaho in Moscow and graduated in 1988 with a Bachelors in Wildlife Resources. I have recently become active in the Post Falls chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
Experience and Background Information
During college and after graduation I worked with the Idaho Department of Fish & Game for a couple of years but decided to go into construction for the status. Actually it paid about two to three times more than the department work. I was an equipment operator and a gas pipe welder for about 10 years. Because of the winters being so slow for work in Northern Idaho I took a position in a High Tech Lab as a Team Leader working in the Aluminum Industry. After two years of this I decided to pursue a career in the Automobile Industy. I spent 5 years at the World's Largest Dodge Dealership in Kellogg Idaho as the Fleet/Commercial Manager and built the department from the ground up. After having my last child, Gabriel, I decided with the help of a good friend and Pastor who is also a land developer in the area that instead of getting a divorce I should pursue a career in Real Estate so I could spend some time with my wife and 3 kids and have some more control of my life. Since then I have been working in the Real Estate Business and despite it's many challenges, I have loved it the entire time.
A little bit about Jamie
I was born and raised here in the area. We moved out to the country when I was 12 years old where I spent a large amount of time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. All of my spare time during the high school years was spent either in the swamp or the mountains. I found a little time to fit in a couple of years of high school football. During college I played rugby for the University of Idaho and even played a little after graduation. It wasn't long after graduation that I met my beautiful wife Sherrie and we started raising a family. We also both gave our lives to the Lord soon after getting married. We now have Michael 16, Sarah Rose 9 and Gabriel 2. Real Estate has given me the flexibility to spend more time with my family even though the hours are still long. We enjoy the outdoors, riding bikes, 4 wheeling on our ATV's, watching movies and spending time in church activities. I was raised in the country and I started working when I was 12 on the local farms. I have always been hard worker whether it was bucking bales, selling cars or chasing elk. My word is good and I will do what it takes to help you buy a home, sell a home or find investment property here in North Idaho. Having a good friend, Pastor and developer as a mentor also gives me a great advantage when hunting down property for development or investment. I would love an opportunity to earn your business.
